Anna Vodicka’s essays have appeared in Brevity, Guernica, Iowa Review, Longreads, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Ninth Letter, Shenandoah and other literary magazines. She has received grants from Artist Trust, the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund, and the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies, and in 2013 won the Missouri Review audio competition for prose.
