Edith Pearlman

Edith Pearlman received the 2011 PEN/Malamud award for excellence in short fiction, honoring her four collections of stories: Vaquita, Love Among the Greats, How To Fall, and Binocular Vision. She has published more than two hundred short stories in newspapers, anthologies, and magazines; and more than one hundred non-fiction pieces in newspapers, anthologies, and print periodicals. Her work has appeared in Best American Short Stories (4 times), the O. Henry Prize Stories (3 times), the Pushcart Prize anthology (twice), Best Stories from the South, and Best American Nonrequired Reading.
