Elena Barcia

Elena Barcia is a film and literary translator who has translated hundreds of movies for major Hollywood studios. Her translation of Miguel de Unamuno’s novel Niebla (Fog) was published by Northwestern University Press in 2017. Her translation of Malú Urriola’s book Cadáver exquisito (Editorial Cuarto Propio, 2017) will be published by Valparaíso Editions USA in 2023. In 2022 she was shortlisted for Poetry International’s Summer Chapbook competition for her selection from Rosabetty Muñoz’s In the Name of No One.
