G. G. Pontano

G. G. Pontano (1426–1503) was considered one of the best Latin stylists of the Renaissance. His works include De Fortuna and De Prudentia, philosophical treatises; De Bella Napolitano, a work of history; and many poems, the most famous of which are Lepidina, Urania, and De Amore Coniugali.
