Idra Novey

Idra Novey is the author of the poetry collection Soon and Wholly (Wesleyan University Press 2024) and the novel Take What You Need (Penguin Books 2023) , named one of The New York Times 100 Notable Books of 2023 and chosen as a finalist for the Joyce Carol Oates Prize. She’s translated the work of numerous authors, including Clarice Lispector, Manoel de Barros, and Garous Abdolmalekian.
