Ilana Freedman

Ilana Freedman is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Comparative Literature at Harvard University. Her research explores comparative poetics, interdisciplinary approaches to diaspora and transnationalism, and the study of classical reception, and her publications include comparative readings of Nikos Gatsos, Seamus Heaney, C. P. Cavafy, and James Merrill. She is currently the graduate coordinator for the Modern Greek Studies Seminar at the Mahindra Humanities Center.
