Lance Larsen

Lance Larsen is the author of six poetry collections, most recently Making a Kingdom of It (Tampa 2024). His fiction has appeared in the Georgia Review, Boulevard, The Sun, Green Mountains Review, and Michigan Quarterly Review. His awards include a Pushcart Prize and fellowships from Sewanee, the Anderson Center, Ragdale, and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has made the notables list six times in Best American Essays. He teaches at Brigham Young University and in 2017 completed a five-year appointment as Utah’s poet laureate.
