Tamara Kamenszain

Tamara Kamenszain was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her most recent books of poems include El ghetto (2003), Solos y solas (2005) and El eco de mi madre (2010). She is the recipient of numerous honors—among them, a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Medal of Honor Pablo Neruda awarded by the government of Chile, and the Prize of Poetry of the Festival de la Lira, in Ecuador. She is currently a professor at the Argentina site of New York University.
