Ted Mathys

Ted Mathys is the author of four books of poetry including, most recently, Gold Cure (Coffee House Press, 2020). A novel in verse, The Labors, is forthcoming in 2026. The recipient of fellowships and awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, and Poetry Society of America, his poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, BOMB, Boston Review, the Georgia Review, and elsewhere. He lives in Saint Louis, where is an associate professor of English at Saint Louis University and co-founder of the 100 Boots Poetry Series at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation.
