Peter Brown’s collection of short stories, A Bright Soothing Noise (UNT Press, 2010), won the Katherine Anne Porter Prize. His work has appeared or will appear in Consequence, North Dakota Quarterly, Salamander, Harvard Review, Mississippi Review and elsewhere. He has published three books of poetry in translation, including a French co-translation of the collected poems of David Ferry, Qui est là? (Éditions la rumeur libre, 2018). A co-translation of the poems of Arthur Gold, Une période de maladie (Éditions Encre & lumière), appeared in France in 2022.
