W. D. Snodgrass

W. D. Snodgrass (1926-2009) was an American poet. His first book, Heart’s Needle (1959), received the Pulitzer Prize in 1960. He received awards from The Academy of American Poets, the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Institute of Arts and Letters, and the National Endowment for the Arts, among other institutions.
